VideoFive junior high school students from Seattle who loved popular music formed The Bare Roots in 1965. At first we were primarily influenced by the British invasion bands of the mid '60s. We quickly discovered that "the bare roots" of this great English music were here in the U.S. in the Mississippi Delta, Memphis, New Orleans, Chicago, and the Northwest. The name stuck and The Bare Roots are still playing terrific classic rock, blues, and r&b music from the artists and styles that are still popular today.We'd love to entertain you!
